Any story about me has to start with this--my blood runs Girl Scout
green. My oldest daughter wanted to be a Girl Scout and there was no
leader for her troop. Somehow, I ended up with that position. Since
then, I've lead troops for both of my daughters, become a Girl Scout
trainer and held more volunteer positions than I care to name here. I'm
proud to be a lifetime member of the world's finest organization
dedicated to helping girls grow into strong young women and future
leaders. Cookies, anyone?
Can girls become strong leaders and still believe in romance? I think
so. We can all hope for a happy ending, but a strong woman realizes that
her happiness is not dependant on Prince Charming.
After more than 20 years as an attorney, I’ve officially changed to
“inactive” status. Now my work is all online as I am an instructor for
an online law school. No more court and no more dealing with other
lawyers. Yay! I still can’t wait to finish my paper grading and get to
what I really enjoy—writing stories with HAPPY ENDINGS GUARANTEED.
Writing romances is the only job in the world that can make that
guarantee and that is why I love writing. Check out my short
story--Presence of Mind--about an absent-minded romance novelist. It is
absolutely not autobiographical, honest.
I have a son and two daughters. My son is taking a year off from
college. My oldest daughter is starting her freshman year away from home
and the baby divides her time between her drama activities and writing
for the school paper.
Speaking of Prince Charming–we’ve been married for 23 years and counting!
I served in the U.S. Army–where I played the clarinet and helped make
the world safe for John Phillip Sousa marches.
I have degrees from UCLA, The University of Oregon and The University of
Tennessee (want to know the year of graduation? Fat chance).
Did I mention Girl Scouts? It’s official! I’m a Certified Instructor of
Trainers.
My favorite color is purple, I love surfing the internet, reading and
walking by the river. Thanks to Audible.com I can read and walk at the
same time!

Jenny loves it when Teresa grabs the leash and
heads for the river.
