Greetings to new visitors and returning friends. As always you can find the latest news about what is happening with my life by visiting me at Teresa Bodwell's LiveJournal. Watch for contests, new features and guest bloggers in my Live Journal each week.

The big news for me is that I've started an online critique service called, Athena Critique Services. My partners for this venture are fellow Zebra Debut authors Flo Fitzpatrick and Sophia Johnson. We've already held a couple of successful online workshops and we have an exciting workshop schedule for next year. Our aim is to help new writers find their voice and bring their stories to life. We are not book doctors or ghost writers—we firmly believe that the story belongs to the author and our job is to help the author bring the story up to a publishable level.

All of my books are still in print and you can read excerpts by clicking on the book link at the top of the page. My novels, Loving Mercy and Loving Miranda have been honored as Willa Literary Award finalists. This award was created to honor outstanding women's stories set in the West. My latest story, "Moonlight Whispers" appears in the anthology, My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys.
